Engro confirms that an isolated incident of gas leak occurred at the Engro Polymer & Chemicals Plant, Port Qasim, this morning. The Company is gathering complete details related to the incident. Based on initial reports, some people have been shifted to a nearby medical facility for treatment of vomiting/nausea condition. Engro staff is accompanying these people to ensure that they receive adequate medical treatment. No injuries or fatalities have been reported.

Engro will conduct a complete and thorough investigation into the incident. The Company will keep all stakeholders informed about details related to the incident.
