    Asad Umar is a Pakistani politician who has been a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan since September 2013. He has served as a Federal Minister and is also the Secretary General of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.

    While Mr. Umar is a renowned political figure, he is equally famous and respected because of his role and contribution in Pakistan’s corporate sector. He served as the President and CEO of Engro Corporation from 2004 to 2012.

    Asad Umar was awarded the Sitara-i-Imtiaz by the Government of Pakistan owing for his public service.

    He graduated as an MBA from the Institute of Business Administration Karachi in 1984.

    A key figure in Pakistani cricket since his teens, Ramiz Raja is a 1992 World Cup winner and Pakistan’s 18th Test and 12th ODI captain. Currently serving as the Chairman of the PCB, his dynamism has been instrumental in the success of the Pakistan Cricket Team.

    Since 2000, Ramiz has also become an articulate voice of Pakistan as a television commentator.

    Professor Dr. S Akbar Zaidi has been the Executive Director (Vice Chancellor/President) of IBA, Karachi, since January 2020. He is a renowned political economist with an experience of four decades of teaching and research in Pakistan and abroad. His areas of interest in research include political economy, development, the social sciences, and history.

    Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy is a two-time Academy Award-winning filmmaker who recently directed the origin story of the critically acclaimed Marvel Studio’s series, Ms. Marvel. Since 2001, she has made over two dozen multi-award films in over 16 countries around the world. Her films include Student Athlete, Girl in the river, Sitara: Let Girls Dream, Song of Lahore, Saving Face, and PeaceKeepers.

    Sharmeen is known for her work in films that highlight the inequality of women and has produced a body of work that has led to legislative changes in Pakistan.

    Shehzad Ghias Shaikh is a pioneering stand-up comedian based in Karachi and has been creating digital content over the past few years with many viral videos under his belt.

    Currently, he runs a popular Podcast called “The Pakistan Experience” with ~50,000 subscribers, hosting experts and guests from vast fields.

    Shehzad also frequently writes and has been published in Dawn, Express Tribune, The Nation etc.

    A football and social entrepreneur hailing from Chitral, Karishma Ali has dedicated her life to breaking barriers for women in sports and ensuring that girls in her hometown of Chitral have more opportunities to play sports. She is currently a member of UN Women Asia 30for2030.

    Karishma also established Chitral Women's Sports Club (Now, Karishma Ali Foundation) in 2018, a pioneer organization dedicated to providing a safe and healthy environment for Chitrali girls to participate in sports.

    As the President of Engro Corporation, Ghias has been instrumental in redefining Engro’s strategy, culture, and global outreach. In 2022, Ghias was also elected President of the Overseas Investors Chamber of Commerce & Industry (OICCI).

    He holds a Bachelor's and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Institute of Business Administration, Karachi.
