Engro EXIMP Private Limited, established in 2003, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Engro Corporation Limited. The company trades in Fertilizers, Agricultural Commodities and Coal. Engro EXIMP trades in commodity fertilizers such as DAP, MAP, MOP and SOP, as well as, micro-nutrients like Zinc Sulphate. The company markets these fertilizers in Pakistan after importing these from the international market. Engro EXIMP has been the largest importer of phosphates and potash fertilizers in the country for the last 8 years. It has also recently expanded into regional trade of fertilizers.

Engro EXIMP is involved in the trade of Palm Oil and Sugar. The company procures these commodities from international and local market and then supplies these to Engro Foods Limited and other customers. The Company has recently started import of Coal into Pakistan which is primarily targeted towards use in the Power and Cement sectors in Pakistan. The company runs logistics and freight operations for each of its business segments.

Engro EXIMP has a wholly owned subsidiary, Engro EXIMP AgriProducts Private Limited, which operates the Basmati rice Procurement, Processing and Export business. This is a fast growing business with a vision to become one of the leading Basmati rice players in the world. The business model of the company relies on developing long term relationship with Basmati growing farmers through providing value added services and procuring high quality Basmati paddy from them. The company has an extensive field force of advisory and procurement staff working directly with the farmers. In addition, the company also provides high quality registered seed to the Basmati growers. The company also conducts research and development work on technologies which can readily help the farmers in areas of water conservation, crop management technology and yield enhancement.

Engro EXIMP AgriProducts owns and operates a large and modern integrated rice processing complex near Muridke. The facility is located on 67 acres of land in the heart of the Basmati growing area and was commissioned in 2011. The equipment was imported from Germany, Japan and USA. This integrated rice complex has the ability to dry more than 150 tons of paddy per hour. It can store 66,000 tons of dried and cleaned paddy in aerated silos and can process rice at the speed of 24 tons per hour which can then be packed at the in-house packing facility. The state-of-the-art parboiling plant has a capacity of 12 tons per hour. The company has the ability to procure more than 150,000 tons of paddy during the Basmati season and then store it in silos and stacks after cleaning and drying.
