Engro Chemical Pakistan Limited has extended its support to build the library and provide latest laboratory equipment to the Chemical Engineering Department of the NED University of Engineering & Technology.

In this regard Mr. Tahir Jawaid, General Manager, HR & Public Affairs, Engro Chemical Pakistan Limited signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and presented a cheque of Rs. 6.20 million to Dr. Abdul Kalam, Vice Chancellor, NED University.

Expressing his views on the occasion, Mr. Tahir Jawaid, said, “Engro actively supports causes that improve the overall quality of life in all our host communities with donations, expertise, materials and time. We strive to gain the trust of our stakeholders by acting responsibly. We want to make Engro the organization of choice for those who want to be the part of our ever-growing, dynamic family”.

This initiative is part of Engro’s efforts to forge partnerships and join hands with the best educational institutions of the country to help them raise standards and produce outstanding graduates to serve the nation in the near future.
